Nicholas Tree of Life In 1925, our forefathers planted a dream... A gift that lives and grows... Since the beginning of time, the oak tree has symbolized strength, endurance, and even life itself. The St. Nicholas Tree of Life is located in the narthex. It is beautiful and enduring symbol of the dedication and love of those who help make it grow. Each contribution becomes a gift that lives, a gift that continues to grow... This historic church requires frequent attention. Its aging infrastructure needs updating to fulfill the needs of the congregation. It is a postive sign that our parish is growing and maturing in the Love of Christ and following his commandments. By purchasing a leaf, an acorn, or a stone, whether it be to commemorate a birth, wedding, or anniversary, or to honor parents, grandparents or other loved ones, you will be honoring and supporting the founders of this Holy Church and their mission to keep alive the flame of Orthodox Christianity for all time.
