The St. Nicholas Choir communicates the Gospel, Orthodox theology, and lives of the saints in the divine services through clear, humble, prayerful, and beautiful chanting and reading. This effort contributes to making the sacraments and services vehicles of santification and grace for the faithful. It also instructs catechumens, the newly illumined, and the faithful in the Orthodox Faith.
The St. Nicholas Choir also encourages group singing and incorporation of both Greek and English, giving the faithful an opportunity to experience Orthodoxy's ancient tradition and ethos and to participate in the spiritual and liturgical life.
The Choir's ultimate goal is to bring the faithful into closer communion with God and experience His love and mercy.
