| Annual
Festival St. Nicholas is a
comparatively small parish. Stewardship alone has not provided
sufficient funds to support the church and all of its expenses. It has
evolved from a tiny bazaar by a few dedicated ladies to a
large
festival, staged by members of St. Nicholas with the help of friends,
welcoming guests from around the Puget Sound region. Each year
the parish selects an
overall chairperson and chairs for each committee. All of Tacoma
looks forward every year to this wonderful event. Each year, the
festival
is on the first weekend of October. Festival
