Our Orthodox Christian Faith

The Eastern Orthodox Church is an unaltered continuation of the Church established by Our Lord Himself. It is comprised of Antiochian, Greek, Russian, and Serbian 'Sister Churches.'

It is also known as the 'Church of the Seven Councils,' Orthodox doctrine emanates from the proclamation of the first Seven Ecumenical Councils of the undivided (pre-schism) Church. In keeping with the practice established by the Holy Apostles [Acts 15:6-22], matters of the faith have always been clarified at councils composed of all available bishops of the Church. At these councils, the Holy Spirit speaks through those present, proclaiming God's Truth.
