By registering and allowing my child to participate in the youth dance program, I agree to volunteer my time and efforts in assisting in various group events. Such events are, but not limited to, fundraising, costume making, and participating in the group's meetings. I also understand that my child is expected to dance at various fundraising events and during the annual Church Festival, but not necessarily at the Annual Folk Dance Festival (FDF).

FOLK DANCE MISSION STATEMENT

The Greek Orthodox Folk Dance Festival Ministry is dedicated through Orthodox Christian Fellowship and committed leadership, to promoting, encouraging and perpetuating Greek heritage and culture among individuals, families and communities expressed in folk dance, folk art, music and language.

TO THE PARENTS:
The Saint Nicholas Folk Dance program is a Youth Ministry of the Parish, operating in accordance with the Mission Statement of the Diocesan FDF and its regulations and requirements. As such:
1) Dancers and directors must be pledged members of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and current in their pledge at the time of registration (exceptions by the consent of the priest only).

2) Dancers must Baptized (or Chrismated) Orthodox Christians.

3) Dancers must be enrolled in and attend Saint Nicholas Sunday School program at the appropriate level. Children absent from Sunday School on a given Sunday shall not be permitted to dance that week only.
